Ha! Great fic! And I wholly agree with the outcome -- if it came down to a catfight swordfight between Elizabeth and Angelica, my money would be on Elizabeth too! (Since Angelica is clearly a chapter from Jack's past that is now over and done with, Elizabeth, being a part of Jack's "present" would have more to lose, and thus would be more motivated to defend and protect what she considers hers!) ;-)
And, as you likely know, I'm in agreement with the view that Will wouldn't want Elizabeth to sit pining for him, and give up the chance of making a happy life for herself. I don't think he would demand such a sacrifice from her, particularly since she'll continue to grow older, and he'll remain forever young. It's great that you make this point here as well!
