Those are great fun, particularly poor Ragetti's. (Christmas wish: more paper, new year's resolution: learn to write.) He's so sweet sometimes; I could imagine he'd have raided a tailor's shop for an extra large sock before Christmas.

The tree is perfect. Of course the pirates would have real gold and jewels for decoration. I'm personally more with the Navy on this, though: little gingerbread pirates, to be hung by the neck from the branches. I think they'd go well with the scent of pine and beeswax candles.

Thumbs up for little Jamie's litte sips. (Reminds me of the one time my uncle mistook the specially spiced mulled wine for fruit tea and placed it at the childrens' table. A bunch of red-cheeked little children glowing like putti and very, very happy ...)
