I'm so with doolabug's icon!!!!!! And what a scary old figurehead...so much the antithesis of Pearl--oh, nerves...Pearl's in the movie right? **hyperventilating**GasP, Pearrrrrrrrrlllllllll.
I've posted other pix myself, but this one was too gorgeous not to share. Love the clouds in the background and the detail visible on the ship. But yes, here's hoping the Pearl is restored after they finish filming.
I can't imagine they'd leave the Pearl out entirely, but as sepira says they may be doing CGI and previously filmed footage. They're trying to save a little money on this one, probably, which is fine as long as the story and characters are what they should be.
doolabug's always used that icon, so far as I can remember, and it pretty much sums it all up. *g*
