I hated the way Angelica was written, though that wasn't Cruz's fault -- I liked that they cast someone an appropriate age to be a love interest for Johnny Depp, I just loathed that they made her a daddy's girl. It wasn't love at first sight for me with that franchise, it took until Elizabeth put on boy's clothes and ran away to sea. *g*
