I've posted other pix myself, but this one was too gorgeous not to share. Love the clouds in the background and the detail visible on the ship. But yes, here's hoping the Pearl is restored after they finish filming.
I can't imagine they'd leave the Pearl out entirely, but as sepira says they may be doing CGI and previously filmed footage. They're trying to save a little money on this one, probably, which is fine as long as the story and characters are what they should be.

If the light wasn't Photoshopped-or-something, then it must be truly devilish luck with this shot. Colors are amazing! Pity there isn't bigger resolution. And I can hardly wait to see her under full sails! (But I also can't... don't want! ...believe in PotC without The Black Pearl.)

But to have the QAR here and making her look similar to the Pearl (well yeah, obviously...^^) reminds me a bit of that one fanfic by KA Rose I've read years ago, where the Pearl and the QAR were sister ships and kinda magical. A bit. As in "They don't make ships like that anymore, they're special"...
I believe we all want both ships, but maybe they have so much footage of the Black Pearl already that they don't need to film any more. Glad you enjoyed these pix!
