Ficlet Meme
I made requests of both
honorat and
virgo79, so I guess I need to post this here...
The first five people to comment on this post get to request that I write a ficlet of any pairing/character of their choosing. In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability level.
Pirates of the Caribbean fandom, of course. ;)

I'd like to request the "missing scene" between Jack/Nell from "An Execrable Business" (you know the one I'm talking about -- the one that falls between parts 52 and 53, and pushes beyond "soft R")! *wink*
The gauntlet has been thrown down, m'dear. Are you up to the challenge? ;-D

Squee!!! You just made my day (week, month, etc.)! :-D
have been rereading the last few chapters of AEB and it's not bad, though I say it myself. ;)
Well, then let me say it, too ... not only is AEB (as you say) "not bad", it's absolutely, incredibly AMAZING! I recall (for the two months you were posting the chapters) waiting in anticipation every morning for each new installment to drop so I could get my daily "fix"! It was such a treat to read, and I was so sad to see the tale of Jack and Nell eventually come to an end. The "missing scene" will be, for me, the icing on a wonderfully delicious, expertly crafted cake (and a good excuse for me to go back and re-read this most excellent story)! ;-)

Jack and the mermaids have a long history, if the Young Jack Sparrow books are to be taken as canon. I'll do my best to write a ficlet about the OST mermaid that you remember -- may have to go watch the movie again, though, and fortunately it's still at our local discount theater. Wish you were here to join me! We sure had fun last May.

I am going to try to get most of these done over the weekend, between swimming. Really looking forward to writing again (and completed one ficlet last night!), it's been too long.
