I know the rest of the country doesn't think we have seasons in Southern California but it's not true! They're just not as extreme. Right now the weather is cool, with big fluffy clouds all over the place (it was pouring rain last night). Beautiful weather. Everything is green and flowering.
Yep, the equinox was yesterday, I think. The days are now longer than the nights for 6 months or so. And my garden looks so pretty! My sweet peas have been blooming.
Scraped ice off the sidewalk today. Shoveled snow off the driveway. The banks of snow beside the driveway are now too tall for me to toss the snow over. Tried to kick the 10 inches of frozen salt and slush and dirt from off the underside of my car. Spring! I'd say I was green with envy but there aint' nothin' green up here.

I love spring. I love it more when I'm living somewhere with actual seasons, but even in southern Nevada, I enjoy it.
(We got rain last night and chilliness this morning. Snow in the mountains. How's that for spring!)
