Disneyland Christmas Picspam (7/7)
Nov. 29th, 2006 08:24 pmWow! Do we have picspams for you tonight!
Here's the last of the Disneyland holiday pix...
This is one of the new banners they have on the lampposts between The Magic Kingdom and California Adventure. The new theme (post 50th Anniversary celebration) is A Year of a Million Dreams and I love the colors they're using -- you'll see lots more blues/purples/silver after the holidays are over.

This next bunch is of the giant letters that spell out California, in front of California Adventure. Remember they were colored like candy corn for Halloween?

The Golden Gate Bridge, all dressed up

Santa's Beach Blast is very cool for little kids of all ages

Dancer is really built, isn't she?

They've decorated "A Bug's Land" for Christmas

Then we ate at the Wine Country Trattoria. We thought it would be really expensive, but it was half the price of the Blue Bayou, and they serve wine, of course. They also have great salads, lasagna, and tiramisu. ;)

When we got through eating, night had fallen and the parks were lit for the holidays. California Adventure...

And Main Street in the Magic Kingdom...

And last, but not least -- psssst! Don't tell! It's Jack, lolling amongst his swag at the end of the revamped PotC ride!

Merry Christmas!
OK! Next up: Puppies!!!! And
weemonkey6 manning The Magic Bullet!

Date: 2006-11-30 05:22 am (UTC)So much fun. I won't go again until January, but the Christmas decorations will still be up, I believe, when we go on the 5th. Wish I could take you along. But I'm also glad you enjoyed these pix so much.

Date: 2006-11-30 06:43 am (UTC)And today, we saw some of those giant Christmas balls at a local outdoor mall here. I amused myself greatly by exclaiming, "They have big balls!" I'm not sure that anyone else was as amused by my ramblings.
And what is the structure in the 26th (yes, I counted!) photo down? The one that looks like some sort of Greek structure.
And I KNEW you could grow candy! :p
Now, how many sentences can you start with the word "and."

And the candy corn is leftover from Halloween, I think. :D
