Wow! Do we have picspams for you tonight!

Here's the last of the Disneyland holiday pix...

This is one of the new banners they have on the lampposts between The Magic Kingdom and California Adventure. The new theme (post 50th Anniversary celebration) is A Year of a Million Dreams and I love the colors they're using -- you'll see lots more blues/purples/silver after the holidays are over.

This next bunch is of the giant letters that spell out California, in front of California Adventure. Remember they were colored like candy corn for Halloween?

Then we ate at the Wine Country Trattoria. We thought it would be really expensive, but it was half the price of the Blue Bayou, and they serve wine, of course. They also have great salads, lasagna, and tiramisu. ;)

When we got through eating, night had fallen and the parks were lit for the holidays. California Adventure...

SHHHHHH!!!! You're not supposed to tell!!!

So much fun. I won't go again until January, but the Christmas decorations will still be up, I believe, when we go on the 5th. Wish I could take you along. But I'm also glad you enjoyed these pix so much.

For some reason your Jack AA looks different from the one in Florida. I wonder why?

And today, we saw some of those giant Christmas balls at a local outdoor mall here. I amused myself greatly by exclaiming, "They have big balls!" I'm not sure that anyone else was as amused by my ramblings.

And what is the structure in the 26th (yes, I counted!) photo down? The one that looks like some sort of Greek structure.

And I KNEW you could grow candy! :p

Now, how many sentences can you start with the word "and."

And by "your Jack AA," I'm obviously assuming that you stole him and put him in your house. :p Ha. Okay, I'll be serious now. Promise.

All so lovely. I'm delighted whenever I see one of your posts. It's fun to see the decorations, and you know the park so well you seem to catch the details.

*whispers* And I promise, I won't tell about ... well, you know.

So happy you enjoyed!! [livejournal.com profile] gingersnapps is getting very good with that camera, and she's thinking of taking some photography lessons in an effort to improve even more.

Yes, mum's the word on you-know-who. ;)

We had great fun getting them all, and out of the 240 we took only 3 had to be discarded (too dark, too blurry). [livejournal.com profile] gingersnapps did a fantastic job on these. We're both very happy you enjoyed them.

And what is the structure in the 26th (yes, I counted!) photo down? The one that looks like some sort of Greek structure.

That is modeled after the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, the only building left from the Panama-Pacific Exposition that was held in 1915.

And the candy corn is leftover from Halloween, I think. :D

Each of those little sections in Bountiful Valley Farms is growing something in tribute to one of the main characters from "A Bug's Life". The Candy Corn is for Heimlich as that is his favorite food (though as you may recall, he enjoys most everything).
