artaxastra doesn't mind, but I've been rereading her wonderful PotC stories off and on for the last couple of weeks and, as has frequently happened in the past, was inspired to write fic for her fic. This is Jack's pov, set just before Watching Over You, which is set just after that One Day.
( He has always watched over her, from the moment she fell from the cliff into blue water... )

It's the first day of Christmas, and the blackpearlsails Twelve Days of Christmas Fic/Fanart Celebration is underway! We have pirates signed up for each of the Twelve Days, and I can't wait to see what everyone has in store for us!
What with one thing (sweet grandson, just turned two) and another (working clear up to the 21st this year) I have just a small gift for you today, another bit of my Jack/Elizabeth story, The Moral Advantage, using a recentblackpearlsails drabble prompt, pragmatic. The scene will be continued soon, too -- yay for Winter Break!

Greetings to all you wonderful piratey folk! As we prepare to celebrate the holidays, and the tenth anniversary of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, I hope you will all sign up for the Twelve Days of Christmas Fic/Fanart Festival at blackpearlsails. We've had great success with this challenge these last two years -- check out the offerings from 2010 and 2011.
As was the case last year, you can write anything from a hundred word drabble to a long story, or make icons or banners, share your fanart, or even share great links you've found that we'd all enjoy, holiday themed or not! It'll start on Christmas Day (for which I've signed up again) and run for twelve days, through January 5th. Let me know in comments here if you'd like to participate, and if you have a preference as to date.

Drabble: 'Heading Out' (J/E - G)
With Thanksgiving Week off, there is time for writing -- even with my little grandson's birthday celebration this last weekend and everyone visiting over Thanksgiving.

Drabble: 'Remembering' (J/E - PG13)
Started out well with mininanowrimo (I've only committed to 100 words a day) but then missed yesterday as I was gone all day and too tired when I got home -- fell asleep sitting up in bed with the computer open and ready and woke at 12:30 a.m. Oh, well. But here are the 500 words I wrote on Nov. 1 & 2 for the current prompt at blackpearlsails...

Drabblish Valentine Fic
Happy Valentines Day to all! We're heading out for Thai food and a movie (My Week with Marilyn), but I wanted to post this little Valentine drabble first, for the 'Love' prompt. My friend celandineb hosted her 3fan_holidays fic exchange again this year and the big reveal of the authors was last night. I was honored to have celandineb herself write A King's Generosity for me, and my own assignment was to write PotC for cruisedirector with lots of Elizabeth and, if in the OST era, a stronger Angelica. Not sure if I succeeded with the latter, but the former was right up my alley since I'd begun something of the sort for my dear beta reader, hereswith, who'd requested some post-OST J/E in that fic meme I've been chipping away at (no, I haven't forgotten the Jack/Nell scene you requested, luvvycat). So here, without further ado, is...
