It's incredible to me that that child could speak coherently to the man! I'm not sure if it speaks of professionalism, or- obliviousity- or a narcissistic personality that you wouldn't ever want to be in the room with.
On the other hand, Johnny loves children, and it's more likely that he got her feeling comfortable, right?
