ponderosa121's great piece of fanart, Gaining Ground, featuring Jack and Barbossa back to back, fending off unseen assailants. Really well done!
And a couple more things.
fabu has written the most wonderful Jack-in-the-Locker fic, Sea-Change.
Pardon me while I digress with the poem from "The Tempest", which I discovered at the age of six in this production (which I believe I've mentioned before)...
Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that does fade,
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange.
Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell:
Ding-dong,
Hark! Now I hear them – Ding-dong, bell.
And
penknife has been turning out some fabulous fics. All of her stories are well worth reading, but I particularly enjoyed Course of Study in which Elizabeth has lessons in pirating from Barbossa, and Come to Rest, which is Jack/Will/Elizabeth (PG-13), about Jack growing older.

That artwork was brilliant, wasn't it? I think I need to print that one out!

On a totally side-note, I was at the El Capitan to see Pirates the other day, and saw all the props and costumes. Totally awesome experience -- the best part being in an audience full of super-enthusiastic fans who cheer and applaud at all the right parts! There was even a guy dressed like Jack, and I swear he looked just like him -- the spittin' image!
