Oh, dear, that's too funny. *G*

And unfortunately apropos for me, as we seem to be having hot and cold running bears, here on the eastern slope of the Sierras. They just tranquilised and removed a yearling that was sleeping under a mobile home not four doors from us, and there's a larger bear that's been giving our bearproof dumpsters a workout. I think that's the one just got hit on the highway a couple days ago. AND they just caught one in the city park in Gardnerville! That made the front page local news ...

Anyhow, LOL, yeah, bears. Poor boogers don't have much to eat in the big dry we got doing on, so bells and pepper might be a good thing. Times like this I'm glad the grizz is extinct in CA/NV .... ;-)

No fooling! We don't have bears, but I have no doubt the deer, coyotes, mountain lions, raccoons, opossum, and the plethora of smaller beasts (including -- ugh! -- snakes!) will be wandering down out of the hills in search of food and water. Poor things.

Those close encounters you've been having up there sound a bit scary, though. Be careful out there.

Yeah, a little closer to wildlife than I like. LOL, I much prefer if the wildlife stays ... yanno, out in the wild! Anyhow, no nighttime trips out to the dumpster without a flashlight, that's for sure. ;-)

Stay cool down there! Supposed to hit 103 in Reno, up here - I about melted today, no idea of temps but it was 95 in the shade on my porch. (Mmmm, margaritas might be in my near future ...*G*)

We used to get snakes at our other house, but it was much closer to the undeveloped hills.

Yeah, don't be takin' out the trash at night at ALL, I say. ;)

Very hot here, too, but that's why we have a pool.
