1. Yes they are! Even without socks. By the end of my first day wearing them I was very impressed.
2. The Art book is full of great stuff. choose2live bought one when we went to Disneyland together back in June and I was very envious. Looked it up on Amazon and they had it at a very reasonable price. Well worth it!
