The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed.

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicise those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE, and strikeout the books you read but didn't like.

I fear the Faraway Tree books have not aged well. Rampant with racism, sexism and very much a product of their time. Of course I didn't know this at the time and was too enthralled by the fairies and magical adventures to be annoyed :D

Oh, so many favourites! Add The Little Prince to your Must Read list! It's short and profound and utterly delightful. I find something new in it at every stage of my life. I even have it in Latin! I predict you'll love it.

As always it's a peculiar and very idiocyncratic one, interesting as much for the books it leaves off--Like the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Black Beauty--as the ones it includes.
