Numerous drabbles on blackpearlsails, some of them real masterpieces. I need to get busy archiving at Black Pearl Tales, again.

I know I recced the next two things already, but that post was friends-locked, and I must reiterate...

potc_feminists is a new community focusing on feminist issues and female characters in PotC and other Age of Sail fandoms. There have been some really wonderful discussions there already, and it's one of my favorite communities to track. Fascinating stuff.

The amazing At World's End: Redux is a massive and ambitious rewriting of the final chapter of the PotC trilogy by the talented sal323 and fried_flamingo. They're up to chapter twelve of twenty-seven, and I, for one, find myself really looking forward to Wednesdays and Sundays. The story features scenes many of us would have given a limb to see on the screen.

Also on Wednesdays and Sundays, tuesday_suit is posting her own beautifully written Desiderata. Love her characterization of Elizabeth, so far, and the plot is thickening rapidly with the introduction of an interesting OC.

hereswith and I have been writing smut for the last week, as an antidote for our depression over fandom wank issues, and I must say this plan has worked like a charm for us! While I was writing J/E, hereswith was working on her new Serenity/Firefly fic, Wicked Games, and it's just delicious. It's rated hard R, and is very good for what ails you. I had the great pleasure of beta reading it. Repeatedly. ;) As jenthegypsy commented, the lights of the heavens dim in appreciation when hereswith writes smut.

And finally, some blatant self-pimpage: after finishing up that last Harry & the Pirate story, Widow's Walk, for dear ladymouse2's birthday last week, I was inspired enough to sit down and actually finish the last twenty-five prompts for 1sentence, all set in the Harry & the Pirate universe. Very light reading.
