Groves and Ana seems a likely pairing if Groves likes both pirates and women - he might take to her because she sails with Jack, but then appreciate her on her own. (Although, if a man kept someone's sword from appearing in my body, I might be a bit more thankful than she is. *G*)
Holidays stories are always fun. Gives writers a chance to do something cheerful and end happily if they like. (Of course, I'm sort of a happy-ending hor anyway. But it seems more acceptable this time of year, lol)
