So glad you liked it! Sweetness and light is the order of the day at Christmas, but there has to be some sort of conflict, whether it's a cold in the head or relatives in peril. I thought this seemed a plausible scenario for Groves/Anamaria, a pairing I'd never written (or read!) but seemed rather appealing.
After CotBP there was so much fic featuring Anamaria. She was a very popular character, and it was a real loss to PotC when they decided to leave her out of the sequels. Fortunately we still have the fanfic to read, and write.
