Oh, lovely, lovely, lovely! I just adore when Jack and Lizzie get frisky, and no-one writes J/E friskiness as well as you do! ;-)
And, if figures, Jack would be more intent on getting her OUT of the dress than IN it! ;-D
"...Jack? Jack!”
“Hmmm?”
“What are you doing?”
Jack had paused in his task. He now ran a finger over the satiny skin so close at hand, and Elizabeth shivered and turned to him, frowning. He said, “You don’t seem to be wearing much under that gown,” and when she blushed, he smiled, slow and wicked.
She countered, unsteadily, “Only you will know. I don’t really need a corset, do I?”
“Certainly not on my account,” he agreed, and leaned in to kiss her lips.
When they parted again – just barely – she breathed, “What about catching it hot?”
He grinned.
Mmmmm, yes! Wicked!Jack is my favourite (and, I daresay, Lizzie's, too!). Trust him to seize the "opportune moment!" ;-)
Love that Teague, with a glance, immediately knows the score! Can't help but think there's a bit of "been there, done that", "like father/like son" at play here. I'd bet Teague had a bit of way around the ladies himself, in his day, and spent many an hour in similar pleasant distraction when he should have been elsewhere ... (as Jack himself once observed, Teague has "seen it all, done it all..." so there's no pulling the wool over his eyes, eh?). ;-)
Great drabble! Whenever I see some new fic of yours drop in, I always know I'm in for a treat! And this one is definitely no exception! :-)
