p0wdermonkey's work before, she's one of my favorite writers, having a firm grasp on the combination of adventure, humor, fantasy, angst, and down-to-earth nautical saltiness that makes up the best PotC fanfic. Once again, she's topped herself with her newest offering, Tall Ship Tales, a series that gives us her take on Jack's backstory.
