Was looking through some of my old work from the class I took on Adobe Illustrator and came across this poem, which I used in my final project. It is absolutely one of my favorites...


~ My Darling Troubles Heaven With Her Loveliness ~

My darling troubles Heaven with her loveliness.

She is made of such cloth
That the angels cry to see her

Little gods dwell where she moves,
And their hands open golden boxes
For me to lie in

She is built of lilies and candy doves,
And the youngest star wakens in her hair

She calls me with the music of silver bells
And at night we step into other worlds,
Like birds flying through the red and yellow air
Of childhood

O she touches me with the tips of wonder
And the angels cuddle like sleepy kittens ~~

pretty poem. i just finished reading harry and the pirate. great fun, that was! you're a good writer *applause* if you ever have WAY too much time, check out some really bad star wars parodies (http://www.geocities.com/oiseaurobyn/parodies.html) my friend and i wrote these years ago and they're so hilarious i've kept them around. be ye warned, they're like 90 pages worth each. :)

I will check out the Star Wars parodies! So happy you enjoyed Harry & the Pirate! I enjoyed writing them. Still doing it, actually: someone requested a ficlet with Jack/Harry as the characters so I wrote one last night. Hard to stop.
