I subscribe to a number of RSS feeds here on LJ, but my favorite by far is The Happiness Project, a constant source of good advice, and useful links. Many thanks to fabu for giving me the heads up on that -- it's been such a wonderful gift! And if you haven't checked it out, do it today -- you'll be happy you did. :)

Consider looking at Heroic Stories (http://www.heroicstories.com/), too. They email out short stories submitted by ordinary people of uncommon (or common) kindnesses and heroism. I get a story in my inbox every other week or so, and it usually makes me feel good about people.
