Birthday Gift

Wow. Even my new kitty, Mr. Gibbs knew it was my birthday. I walked into the bathroom to shower a few minutes ago and there he was, presenting me with the head of some nameless, middle-sized rodent.

It's the thought that counts, right?

Well, it probably started as a team effort, all the pets working together for their mommy's birthday, arranging the corpse in the most festive way possible for the maximum enhancement of your birthday cheer. Imagine the tiny party hat, imagine the little streamers and balloons! ...But pets get excited about big things, like dead rodents and birthdays, and soon only the head was left.
