April is poetry month and, like so many on my flist, I'll be posting a poem each day, as I did last year. :)

Here's the first, an old favorite...


~ The White Rose ~
by John Boyle O'Reilly

The red rose whispers of passion,
And the white rose breathes of love;
O, the red rose is a falcon,
And the white rose is a dove.

But I send you a cream-white rosebud
With a flush on its petal tips;
For the love that is purest and sweetest
Has a kiss of desire on the lips.

Great! Hopefully I won't miss any days. I managed it last year, but this year we'll be going out of town for a couple of days during Spring Break. However: wireless internet! So all should be well.

Way fine that poem--passion is such a delightful motivator! And pure love, yeah okay, passionate love the same--but the blend well, now that's a banked fire you could warm by for a life long. Thanks dearie.
