Sooooooo exciting! It's strange to know they are going to be filming on the North shore at some point, as Lost filmed there heavily during its six year run. I've seen some interior island shots that I can identify from Lost, too. Such a strange juxtaposition of other worlds!

Oooh... thanks for these updates! I read the book that "On Stranger Tides" and could see parts that Jack and Barbossa could fill. I wonder what if anything from the book they might use other than the title.

I'm reading OST right now, and I must agree, maybe they bought it just for the title. The descriptions of getting to the FOY are pretty cool, though.

I read it on my trip to Ireland, and I can see shades of Jack in the Jack in the book, and shades of Barbossa in Blackbeard. Its a good read no matter if they use any of it other than the title.
