Penelope makes one gorgeous piratista, and Barbossa looks impressive in the new uniform - I love the costumes in these films.

As for Captain Jack in blindfold...there are No Words.

Cruz looks suitably "Maureen O'Hara-ish" in her pirate gear, I do get the giggles at her name though (haven't read on Stranger Tides so I don't know if that's from the book. Years ago, there were a series of sexy "bodice rippers" that were unusual for the time period in having the heroine be a sort of female "Flashman" adventuress getting in and out of all sorts of predicaments by herself. The character's name was Angelique.

Blindfolded Jack...be still my heart. Barbossa looking like an Admiral but on a crutch and hanging from the stern of the Pearl appears ominously to be a gibbet--boy have we got a lot to speculate about!

I know, I can't believe they picked such a cliche bodice-ripper name. And it's not in the book On Stranger Tides. I remember that Angelique series, though I never really read much of it. But whatever, Penelope Cruz is a good actress so hopefully it'll all work out well anyway. At least they didn't give her red hair and emerald green eyes or something.

I need to take a closer look at the Barbossa pics missed some of that -- and Blindfolded Jack: Mmmmm!!

I love Barbossa's new costume so much! It is much better then his old one, I love the coat. <3 He looks fierce.

Penelope is very pretty but I always miss the dresses like POTC 1 Elizabeth had! I hope she will get just one fancy dress.
