New posters, and mermaids!

Finally got a new copy of Photoshop to load and, though some of these have been around a while, had to post these for posterity's sake. The one of Angelica is new to me, though....

Yeah, I love Angelica's poster BUT I just found out Gore says the new film is set in 1750?!!!

Thank you for posting the Blackbeard one, I reposted it myself this morning, too, along with the other Jack posters. They sure are pretty! I haven't been commenting as much anywhere, but I think I saw all your posts and enjoyed them very much.

It is coming up fast, wish they'd put out some info on the red carpet event (other than it's May 7th, and that's actually unconfirmed but they're closing the park at 5 that day and it's two weeks ahead of the theater release date).

I really love these posters, especially this one! I've a little problem with the Jack one you posted, though - I think someone got overexcited with photoshop again. *g*

Still, they did really well and I'm thrilled to see if there are some more posters (there needs to be at least one with the four main characters!).

Angelica's poster reminds me of Jack's CotBP one... I wonder how deliberate this similarity is.

Barbossa's poster makes me smile every time I see it. He seems to be saying What am I doing in this movie? or at least What am I doing in this outfit? lol

I hope there will be a poster with Blackbeard as well!

I think you're right about T&T reading virgo79's great story -- although I have to say there are mermaids in the kid-targeted Jack Sparrow novels that are less than nice but prettier than Virgo's.

I don't know about Angelica, I'm still afraid the writers will fail us in various ways again. The Jack bits will be great fun, of course. Just did a second post with Blackbeard's poster and the other two Jack ones, and some slight info on the Red Carpet event. I love Geoffrey Rush. Did you see him in The King's Speech? We saw that over at the little arthouse theater in Westlake and it was sold out and everyone applauded at the end! I'm so happy it won Best Picture, they hardly ever pick a movie I like for that.

I'm getting pretty excited myself about the OST premier. Whooot! Fun stuff! And I agree, these are great posters.
