Oh, and rumor has it that May 7th is the Red Carpet Event at Disneyland. That's two weeks before it hits the theaters, which is what they did for the other three movies. Can't find any details except that they're closing the park at 5 P.M. that day, which they wouldn't do for anything less than something spectacular. If we can go by past experience, anyone hanging out by the red carpet will be able to stay to see the invited guests arrive. No word on any charity fundraiser invitations being available to the public as there were at the premier of AWE.

Anybody planning on being there, or at the May 19th marathon at the El Capitan?

Have tickets for Marathon and midnight showing at 12:01 AM, may try and travel for the red carpet too? Crazy I know from TN to CA within two weeks but oh well. I am proof of still crazy after all these years!

No, I was in the wrong web page. I think tickets are still available and you get to see OST before the midnight showing but I do not mine seeing it twice in one day. Working on bringing some friends with me for the red carpet. We will see what we can work out.

I went to the DMC and AWE red carpet events. No you don't have to be an annual passholder, and I believe I read on the website that all but premium passholders are blacked out that day, so if you're not a premium passholder you'd have to buy a ticket. But yes, if we all go we should surely meet up at some point.

I'm going to the midnight showing at the El Cap... I did the marathon last time, though, and it was a BLAST. I'm also thinking about whether or not I want to try and find a spot on the red carpet on the 7th... I've done it twice, and it's CRAZY tiring, but if certain minor characters show up who haven't done so before, I might be convinced.

Are you going to the midnight showing as well as trying to get in on the marathon? I'd love to say hi if you are!

I'm thinking I might go to the marathon but I might skip the midnight showing so I can go to work the next day. I remember seeing you at the midnight showing of AWE, and at the red carpet event for DMC (and AWE too? It's something of a blur). It is crazy tiring as you say, going to the red carpet event, and I bet this time we'll just have to be in line all night to get a decent spot on Main Street. I'm still debating whether or not I want to do that. The DMC red carpet was more fun as we were seated outside of Clothiers, opposite the Blue Ribbon Bakery, a great spot -- got so many autographs! But at the AWE event we ended up in front of the Plaza Inn (even though we were in line by 3 A.M.) and there was a wide roped-off space in front of us that prevented us getting many autographs. Unforgettable experiences, though, pretty fun and crazy.
