Season's Greetings!

Nothing important. Just a beautiful day, sunny but cool and crisp, the hills green, the trees still bright with Fall color. My boss is away, so I can run my space heater and my feet are nice and toasty. There is a poinsettia sitting on my desk, a gift from the management team. There is the prospect of two holiday concerts in the near future, and my collection of Christmas MP3's is making me utterly happy right now. gingersnapps will perhaps be with us for Christmas. ladymora says she and dr_mrow will come a few days before Christmas to play and bake and have fun with us. They spent the Thanksgiving weekend with us, and it was delightful. There is still turkey in the fridge, enough for a sandwich or two, but it's time to make turkey soup...maybe after work. All is well. My love to you all.

Ain't it the truth. If you are of that persuasion, and not opposed to slash, I suggest checking out the the fics at impofperversity by the talented viva_gloria and the amazing tessabeth -- like having a hoard of fine chocolate, I kid you not: utterly addictive.

Sounds like you're pretty busy, though, what with kiddos and nursing school! Go you! I am in admiration of such energy.

It's definitely good for what ails ya--funny, and exciting, and endearing characterizations, and unbelievably hot: some of the very best writing in the PotC fandom.
