Beautiful drabble! Love the line 'The ship, the air, the world shuddered and cracked with sound, and then with smoke, fire, and splinters' and Will's 'waxing poetical'. Elizabeth's mental response makes it sound as though she is rather tired of being put on a pedestal... but it is a nice image of them reminiscing together.
