Jack twinkles mischief, doesn't he? It's testimony to extreme talent that even in that contemporary, RL setting, I just don't see Johnny Depp in there at all. He's aaaaall adorable pirate scoundrel. :)

"Twinkles mischief" is a cute and accurate way of putting it! And you're right: he really seems immersed in the character. Must be something magical about putting on that costume.
