weemonkey6 and I went to see Ashes and snow down at the Santa Monica pier yesterday. If you live in the L.A. area, don't miss it. A picspam follows...

Said happy birthday to Uncle Fran, too -- he enjoyed the lemon mousse cake we brought, and the pot of pretty freesias.

Also had lunch at The Lobster Restaurant -- Fillet of Sole with a lemon/caper sauce and artichoke hearts; mashed potatos; asparagus, salad of mixed baby greens with pecans, dried cherries, blue cheese and balsamic vinegrette; good bread with that olive oil/herb/garlic stuff; and espresso protiferoles with coffee crunch ice cream and sliced strawberry garnish. Mmmm.

Must zoom. Downtown Disney followed by Pirate Show in Buena Park tonight.
