GrandCat

My GrandCat, Casper, beautiful big grey cloud boy with unbelievable amber eyes, and a spot of white on nose and front paws, is no more. He took joy in inflicting mayhem on a variety of small animals, and in bestowing his elegant presence on all and sundry in the house of his mother, Lady Mora, and his father, Dr. Mrow. Picturing him as he was last Monday morning, curled on The Bed, at the feet of his parents, resting and dreaming and just being with them, I find it terrible even to imagine the void his absence leaves in their home. And as one who was occasionally permitted to hold him, armful of disdainful, silvery beauty as he was, I can tell you he will be sorely missed by many of the faithful until we meet again somewhere far from here (or maybe as close as breathing?).

Oh, I'm so sorry my dear. My Mom calls my cats her GrandKitties too. I just can't imagine the grief. You have all my sympathy.
