For all those on my flist who have not friended the pirate!fic communities, (or for those who've missed her posts), artaxastra has updated "Outlaws and Inlaws", her new post-AWE fic, with chapter three: Four Days of Advent, in which there is a baby. It's (typically) perfect, both hilarious and touching. Don't miss it!

ETA: She has already updated again, this time with Cradle Tales, in which young Flipper is told many truths. The format of this one is amazingly effective. NC-17 for some beautiful images, and some terrible ones.

You are my lifeline to excellent pirate fic, as I don't ply those waters freely any longer - but if you rec it, I read it. Thank you so much for continuing to post the alert for artaxastra's series! It has been a delightful bit of fresh air since the first sentence of the first chapter. Thanks tons for keeping me in the fold!
