Yuletide FYI

I participated in the Yuletide fic exchange this year, and it was quite an experience. Georgette Heyer's The Grand Sophy was one of the fandoms I both requested and offered to write, and I received The Grand Sophy is Surprised by
gloriana, which I just loved. In addition, I received an extra "Yuletide Treat", Christmas Red by Willow Smith, which is based on Georgette Heyer's These Old Shades, another favorite book of mine!
I wrote En Dishabille for
neonhummingbird, which turned out surprisingly well for my first foray outside PotC in many years. My deepest thanks go to
hereswith and
the_stowaway who both beta read for me, and whose input certainly improved the story.
Yuletide inspired 1291 authors to produce 2031 stories in 733 small fandoms, and the organization of the whole thing was a work of art in itself. Pretty amazing, I must say! Check out some of the stories there, if you get a chance -- some great writers participated, and with that many fandoms represented there is something for anyone and everyone.
