Some great links...
Some of these tabs have been open in my browser for weeks and they're just too good not to share.
Amazing pictures of Waves! I can't remember where I got that link, but big thanks to whoever posted it first.
More water in the world's largest pool!
Great post on period clothing at
perfect_duet, an Aubrey-Maturin comm.
Prose so purple it'll have you rolling. This excerpt of A PUBLISHED WORK, OMG, was first pointed out to me by
hereswith and then referenced by
elspethdixon a couple of days ago. Don't neglect to check out the comments (although there are 17 pages of them now, and a lot of bad-words-of-profound-disbelief therein), and also the rest of the chapter. 0.o

Okay, I am now going to officially stop worrying about my writing. *g*

The prose hurt me and I'm probably related to this person the way the story rolls along--Save your brain cells, please--do we need an intervention here?LOL
The children's clothing reminds me of Blue Boy and his female counterpoint. Beautiful work in the costumes.
Don't forget the lovely 17th century canting dictionary--that is just weird!

Yes, that's another good link. I'll have to do that next time. The prose is hurtful, hilarious in the bad way. *g*
