Day 1 - Harry & the Pirate IV: Ghost Ship

This is a "deleted scene" set after chapter six of Harry & the Pirate IV, written for the "Haunt" prompt at blackpearlsails, and for the first day of mini_nanowrimo, for which I've promised to write at least 100 words a day for the month of November. This one is 300 words - go me! Many thanks to hereswith for looking it over.

The set-up: Jack Sparrow, now a privateer for England, has been married to Weatherby Swann's sister, Henrietta ("Harry") for some years and they have a young son, Tom. Jack, Harry, and Admiral Norrington are sailing to Santiago, Cuba on a diplomatic mission (though there are less-than-diplomatic issues involved as well), and they left Tom in Jamaica with Weatherby, Will and Elizabeth -- or so they thought. Half way to Cuba the stowaway is discovered, and Jack is so furious he has Tom locked in the Pearl's brig for a few hours before giving him a tremendous scold and releasing him to his much-relieved mother.
