PotC4: The Greenwich Phantom strikes again...

They are getting ready to film in Greenwich, England, and The Greenwich Phantom has posted another blog entry about the building of the sets, with really really high res versions of the pix below.

*grin* I see the fancy buildings and read that the set is at the Royal Naval College, and my first reaction is, "This means we'll soon be getting pics with... you know... Navy characters, right? RIGHT?" Also, I thought I was being clever and looking closely at the banner in that first picture, thinking I might be able to figure out an actual year (or at least a narrowed span of years...) from the first initial of the monarch, only to be reminded that every king from 1714 to 1830 was named George. Heh. So much for that...

I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll do with the naval presence in PotC4. And yes, those Georgian years spanned over a century. One must be reconciled to the handwaviness of the franchise.
