Happy Halloween Picspam and Icon Squee Meme

Niece gingersnapps sent this series of cheery doggie pumpkins to me a couple of days ago and I must share it with you...











































And our Papillons, Faline and Jack, went to the groomers on Friday and have Halloween bows!








Faline doesn't mind wearing a costume, but Jack gets very depressed when we dress him up.








And here's a repeat of the PotC pumpkins my daughter carved a few years ago, with niece's help...























And finally, aletheiafelinea suggested starting this Icon Squee Meme again, which was going around back in April of '08. Sounded like a good idea to me!

Puppy portrait pumpkins - how marvelous! Jack looks so dapper and Faline quite lovely in their Halloween bows.

Poor Jack is such a scruffy thing as he is all pirate, leaping into the underbrush after treasure, or villainous intruders on a pretty constant basis, so we have to get him groomed regularly. His fur is very fine and cottony, and he hates being brushed, so we get professional help for him now and it works out much better. This month Faline went with him, but ordinarily she is so much easier to take care of that we do it ourselves (and by we I mean my niece takes care of her, and Jack, too, when he needs between-grooming maintenance).

The PotC pumpkins are great, aren't they? I need to go get some batteries at Costco for their little light-up gadgets, can't use candles in them.
