*G* That it is! Plus there is the wild romanticism about pirates that makes it so flamboyant. I can well imagine the absolute glee of any costumer faced with such a challenge.
And I'm a total idiot, because I meant to thank you for posting them and got distracted multi-tasking! *G* They are lovely and made me squee so loud I woke up the cat. LOL Thank you!
Btw, was thinking of you yesterday as we zoomed past Highland on the way home from Disneyland -- we'll have to get together, have dinner or something one of these days. And you're learning the harp!! That's so cool!!! My daughter (the older one, in Santa Barbara) plays the harp. Such a wonderful instrument -- sounds great even if you're just fooling around. *G*
It is wonderful! And yes---the harp is much easier on the ears of any inadvertant listener than something like a violin! I'm in the 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star/Go Tell Aunt Rhodie' space now, which feels very odd, but I can hear the difference playing properly makes already. *G* How fantastic! I didn't know you had two daughters! *G*
My older daughter, ladymora is married (5 years now!) and is working on her PhD at UCSB (materials science). She's a sweetheart, and is getting better on the harp all the time -- I contributed to its purchase when she graduated college. My little one, weemonkey6 is a sweetheart too, studying to be an art teacher, and she plays the guitar and sings beautifully. They are both way more talented than I, on so many levels.
I used to sort of play the piano, and I've been meaning to start working on that again -- bought an "easy classics" book at Costco recently. It could happen!
I've got to stop hitting post instead of 'period'! LOL! We absolutely should get together for dinner sometime, if you're down here often (it's sometimes hard for me to get out of Dodge without Sonny since she's the vehicle-gal. *G*) I know we're gonna have a bunch of friends here in LA after Escapade (last weekend of Feb.) so maybe we can try to plan a get-together.
I don't get down there too often, but it's only 45 minutes away. I've been dreaming of Koji's too (at the Kodak Theater mall) -- Mmmmmmmm!!!!
Are you going to the El Capitan for the midnight showing of PotC3? I'd like to do that, and then zoom down to San Diego for SitS3 the next morning. Haven't heard about the logistics for SitS3 yet, but I'm hoping that's doable.
*giggle* A bit far in the future for me to plan, but I would LOVE to! And I doubt SitS3 will happen for me *pout*---it so hard for Sonny to plan anything with all her freelance work. I hope to be able to but I can't know for sure yet.
And have you eaten at Trastavere at that mall? It's a fantastic place---not cheap but our fave Italian place and it's within walking distance! Eeep!
