As most everyone now knows, Johnny Depp's little 7 year old girl, Lily Rose, was hospitalized for the last week or more with a "serious" malady. Various sources now say she's better and out of the hospital. No official word has come out regarding the nature of the illness, although this is being reported in many of the news stories (in this exact wording)...
A source told In Touch magazine: "After the wound was left untreated, blood poisoning developed. It has now spread through her body and has affected her vital organs."
Now I'm wondering two things: 1) How reliable is In Touch magazine in reporting news? From its website, it looks to be a tabloid and a publication I wouldn't trust for accurate information; and 2) Why has this anonymous source worded it in that particular way? It implies negligence on the part of her parents and other caregivers, which was probably not at all the case. Sounds like this source might have had an axe to grind.
Sort of suspicious, I think.

Date: 2007-03-09 11:41 pm (UTC)what bothers me even more, though, are all the negative comments people have been making about "negligent parenting"; comparing johnny and vanessa to britney spears and michael jackson. it's like they just can't wait to dish out blame and make negative comments.
