Drabble #17

Another in the ongoing series, inspired by pearlseed's wonderful drabble, here's a companion to #16, this time from Harry's pov...



~ Immolation ~

Harry's heart, blood, breath, world stopped in that moment, she was so close to Jack's lips she could see only him, feel his warm rum-and-gold breath against her cheek. In her mind's eye, she leaned just a dusky hair's breadth closer, melding warm lips to his and from that point, consummation, swift, thorough, passionate consummation would surely ignite and immolate both fear and desire.

She was singularly stunned on waking to find that though fear had certainly vanished, desire yet burned bright, and then brighter still when she opened her eyes to find Jack (her Pirate!) watching, and then smiling.

Yay! And yet another Jack/Harry drabble! It's truly an embarrassment of riches today! :-)

Aaaah, yes! Who wouldn't be overcome with desire, waking up to a freshly-ravished (and having been freshly ravished by!) Captain Jack Sparrow! *sigh* ;-)
